In a multi-channel world, the "best" path isn't a hunch; it's a result. With indigitall’s Best Path, you can test different strategies in real-time and let our AI automatically identify and prioritize the highest-performing channel to maximize your overall engagement.

Best Path is an AI-driven orchestration node that replaces static journeys with real-time performance optimization. By setting up two or more routes, you can compare different channels (like Push vs. SMS) or test variations within the same channel (like two different Email subject lines). The system continuously monitors engagement to identify the 'winner' and automatically scales the most successful campaign for you.

Setting Up Your First Best Path

  1. Navigate to the Customer Journey builder and select the "Best path" node under the Optimize routes with AI section.
  1. Define Route A: Select your starting channel (e.g., Push) and the specific campaign you want to test.
  2. Define Route B (and beyond): Choose an alternative channel (like Email or SMS) to compare cross-channel performance, or select the same channel with a different campaign version to test messaging variations. You can add as many additional routes as your strategy requires.
  1. Configure your Send Timing (Immediate or scheduled) and save your changes.

How it Works

When you add a Best Path node to your journey, you set up a competition between different delivery options:

  • Multi-Channel Testing: Compare the effectiveness of Push Notifications, Email, and SMS side-by-side.
  • Flexible Setup: You must configure at least two possible routes (e.g., Option A and Option B), but you can add as many as your strategy requires by clicking 'Add another possible route'. If you need to remove a path, simply click the red 'Delete this route' link at the bottom of the configuration.

  • Winning Path Selection: The AI evaluates the real-time performance of each route. As data comes in, it automatically identifies the "Winning Path," ensuring the majority of your audience receives the most effective version of your message.
